I-215 and Keller Road Interchange

A team of 10 students performed a case study of the I-215 and Keller Road Interchange Project between the City of Murrieta, City of Menifee, and County of Riverside to determine how well it would serve the area in the next 20 years. First, the existing conditions were researched, and future traffic was simulated. If the current configuration was found to be deficient, a preliminary evaluation would be performed to identify a number of possible alternatives, which would be analyzed based on geometric, traffic, and environmental factors using local, state, and federal design standards. Per their findings in this year-long study, the team would then recommend the ideal interchange type for construction.
